The Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Latvia, Department of Physics has launched the BioMagnetLink project, funded by the European Union and run until 2030. 

BioMagnetLink is established as a multidisciplinary effort combining biology, physics, and materials science. The project aims to investigate the interactions between magnetic materials and biological systems, laying the groundwork for innovations in biomedical technologies and advanced materials.

BioMagnetLink brings together leading researchers from various fields to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and scientific advancement.
