The keynote lecture was delivered by Professor Mario Milco D’Elios from University of Siena, Italy, an internationally recognized expert in immune responses in infectious and autoimmune diseases, nanomedicine and space medicine.
Senior researcher at the University of Latvia and leader of the Living Materials Research Group, Dr. Damien Faivre, gave a talk on magnetic iron oxides, from synthesis to applications.
Dr. Maksym Pogorielov gave a talk on 2D nanomaterials (MXenes) for targeted anticancer treatment.
The event also involved ARGO project partners from Umeå University, Thomas Boren and Zhanna Bugaytsova and Sensografa, Arunas Ramanavicius, who contributed to the scientific discussions and future collaboration planning.
